Old Stuff 22

When in Orange we did our walk around Cook Park.  This is a lovely Victorian era park established in 1873 and covers an area of 4 hectares.

I love old parks with their mature trees and interesting old structures.

  1. Beautiful, shady place.
Must be wonderful to sit on a bench there and enjoy a good book.

    1. Probably. But do you take books to the park to read? I don’t.

  2. Me too Joan Elizabeth, old stuff has always been more appealing to me. Cook Park sounds wonderful.. is that a Victorian bandstand?

    1. I think it is ... but then it could be a modern look alike. Either way it is nice.

    1. I wonder if they get used much? Doesn’t matter if they don’t because as you say they look good , like a nice piece of garden sculpture.

    1. For the most part it is, from years of tender care I guess. The mature trees are very special.
