More Katoomba Street Art

Another lovely mural in the Katoomba Street Art Walk.  This one is done by local artist Krimsone who has a growing body of beautiful street art here in the the mountains and elsewhere.

Participating in Sami's Colourfulworld Monday Murals.

    1. Lots more than I thought. If the light had been better and I was not so intent on doing something else that day I would have taken more detailed shots.

    1. I guess this one speaks to nature but in a not quite realistic way.

  5. We have a lot of street art here too. Some of the murals are quite beautiful while others are not up my alley.

    1. A lot of street art is not up my alley ... especially the type of stuff that appears in alleys.

  7. The shapes are intriguing but I can't really tell what they are. The shades of blue are very pleasing.

  8. Not sure what it is meant to be. Looks like a bird and I like birds.

    1. I like birds too but this one seems to be more fantasy than real. This same artist did the more realistic birds seen on the water towers at Wentworth Falls and Bullaburra.

  12. Delightful. I love how murals are brightening so many huge blank canvases.

    1. The canvases in this laneway are huge. They would have required cranes to paint the murals.
