I have had plenty of time to read lately and been immersed in yet another story of an odd family.
The book I have read recently
"The Man Who Loved Children" Christina Stead. A good read, a bit long and sometimes tiresome but well worth reading. I am amazed at the ability of these writers to create characters and sustain them for so any pages.
A fabulous snap of the pelicans enjoying themselves. I just love these birds. I wonder if you saw my blog post on the 33 who came to visit the ponds below our house a few ago?
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the pelicans. I saw a pelican at Yarramundi a few weeks' ago.
ReplyDeleteIt is always interesting to see them inland rather than at the sea. They apparently end up at Lake Eyre when it has water in it.
