Another reminder
And this reminds me why I don't walk as much as I used to. However, as mountain walks go the steps here have a very gentle grade and are well maintained so relatively easy.
They lead back to the top. That's the problem with most Blue Mountains tracks - they descend into the valley below and after enjoying the delights of the rainforest and waterfalls the only way out is a climb back up. I spend all my time going down thinking about that climb and wondering at which point I should stop and turn around.
They do look enticing Joan Elizabeth. I can walk for miles on the straight but steps.. they just puff me out 😊 Doesn't stop me climbing them though, so good for the derriere 😀
I am not keen on any type of exercise. But with the enticement of the beautiful forest I am willing to give it a go. It is more difficult when walking with other people because I can’t keep up so I like to go alone.
I wonder where they lead to. They certainly beckon one.
