Spring is here

St Mary's Mudgee

I think sandstone buildings make the perfect background for flowering trees.

The weather is getting warmer, the gardens a coming awake and our prayers have been answered with good falls of rain and thunderstorms this week.

The verse below turned up in my daily bible reading this week, it made me smile.

Reflection:
Zechariah 10:1 New International Version
"Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;
it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.
He gives showers of rain to all people,
and plants of the field to everyone."

  1. They had good falls of rain yesterday as we drove out to Rydal. We have been praying for rain and the Lord answered our prayers.

    1. Yes our prayers have been answered. It is amazing how quickly the grass has greened up as a result.

    1. I am not sure about other parts but it has certainly made a difference in the parts I visit, I will show a photo later in the week. However, the farmers will be looking for follow up rain as the season progresses.

  4. Those bright blossoms are beautiful with the dark branches and the building behind. Glad you're getting needed rain. We've been getting some in our hemisphere, too. And it's needed here, too.
