City Birds
Pigeon
Since it was raining here today which seems to send birds into hiding I am running with another ubiquitous city bird. We went to the city so often this week it felt like we were commuting again!
This is not a great shot but like most things in the city it was scurrying about.
Those city birds have always got somewhere else to be 😊 Meanwhile I've been waiting for the flock of screeching Carnaby black cockatoos that are flying around to land on my bottle brush tree so I can take a few pics ✨

ReplyDeleteI wonder what Carnaby black cockatoos sound like. Our black cockatoos have a noisy and very distinctive call.
DeleteThe angle gives the sense that, the very importnt looking pigeon, is climbing the wall. Wonderful welcome rain here too.
ReplyDeleteBusy busy, that is what city people are like. I get more country by the day.
DeleteI dread going to most cities anymore.
ReplyDeleteAfter we had pigeons nest in the roof of our last house they are among my very least favorite of birds.
oh dear. In my experience birds in the roof can come with bird lice. I would not be keen on them either after that.
