Green tunnel
This is a photo from our sun room window at Burnbrae - what a difference a couple of weeks makes. The snowball flowers towards the back are currently green, they will turn white soon.
It is a Japanese maple. There are two or three mature trees outside the sunroom. The snowball flowers are growing underneath one of them but these days are reaching very high to the skies.
Yes, the rain has made such a huge difference. My iris finally have buds. Last year they did not bloom at all!
ReplyDeleteMy iris that normally flower earlier are in flower in the mountains now too.
DeleteJust love the green! What is the name of this magnificent tree.

DeleteThe Japanese maple is magnificent Joan Elizabeth, as is the view from the sun room window. How beautifully lush and green everything still is .✨
ReplyDeleteThey would normally be fresh and green at this time of year but the recent rain is giving them a extra lift I think.
