Orchard

After Sculptures in the Garden we headed out to Gulgong for afternoon tea.  The orchards by the roadside were now in blossom.  I think this will be the last of the blossom photos for this Spring, and now I am already looking forward to the Summer cherry harvest.

  1. The blossoms are too beautiful Joan Elizabeth, pity they don't last longer but lovely to enjoy and photograph when in glorious flower 🌸

    1. I thought of you and how you chased the blossom to photograph too. We passed that way a week or so earlier when there was no blossom to speak of so it was great that it was happening this time we went that way.

  2. How beautiful! I'd love to be walking between those rows of trees. It looks like a perfect day.

    1. It was a perfect day, a break from grey days and rain. The trouble is since we are hoping to recover from drought I guess the farmers didn't find it as perfect as I did.

  3. Spring is so wonderful in colder climes. I love where I live but would love to have a year where I could experience the 4 seasons. A dream, I know.

    1. 4 Seasons is lovely but takes some getting used to as a Queenslander. I remember my first year down south thinking it was winter in April and still thought is was winter until November.
