Vineyards

Driving to Mudgee this week I noticed the vines are now beginning to sprout.

Reflection:
John 15:5 New International Version (NIV)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit”

  1. I can't help but think of all the work that is involved in pruning them into such a regimental order. I like the bible verse you chose.

    1. Hadn’t thought of all the pruning, given the thousands of vines. My few fruit trees and roses do me in real fast.

  2. It will be bright green in no time. Some lovely wineries to be found in Mudgee. We've got quite a few wines cellaring from there.

  4. A well-tended vineyard.

Love the perspective of the lines disappearing into the distance.

  5. You actually do have 'spring' and it is quite late in comparison to our temperatures.

    1. Definitely spring and very much later. I dislike visiting Qld any later than September because it is too hot and humid. We are still lighting the log fire in the evenings here.
