They make me think of beautiful ballerinas. I love the look of ballerinas but don’t actually like going to ballet much. Do you enjoy ballet?
Everyday delights in Penrith, Kandos in mid-western NSW and beyond

Yes I love the ballet. We saw the Russian Ballet at the Hub in Springwood last year dancing Nutcracker. It was mesmerising. Such a visual form of the arts. My husband loves it because he is quite deaf and with the ballet he doesn't have to concentrate on hearing the words, as in plays and musicals. Also the music is always such an outstanding feature of the ballet.
ReplyDeleteI get bored with just about all forms of musical theatre. I want to do other things while I listen, like I can at home.
DeleteThey are elegant Joan Elizabeth. Your comparison with ballet dancers is perfect, slim and long legged . We went to a ballet concert last weekend and another tomorrow. I have four great nieces who dance, lot's of end of year concerts 💙
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun enjoying the talents of young people you know.
DeleteVery graceful!
ReplyDeleteMy inclination of ballet would be go for the music, get a box seat where I can watch the orchestra.
Yes it is the music more so than than the dance for me too.
DeleteThis is a beauty. Most of the egrets we see here are smaller.
ReplyDeleteI love ballet though I haven't seen a full one in ages. My husband isn't a great fan. I've rented a number of DVDs documentaries about dancers and dance companies and really enjoyed them. It's quite an arduous discipline.
I also enjoy documentaries on dance companies and them preparing their routines.
DeleteStop in from Iris and that egret looks gracefull as he moves.
ReplyDeleteIf you have time stop in for a cup of coffee
