Our caravan is parked in a spot where we have a view across the harbour to the town of Ulladulla. The weather is grey and sometimes wet but I don't mind.
So many caravan parks don't have water views these days. The beachside ones have been taken over by high rise or the places with views given over to cabins.
A poem for today
A Musical Instrument by Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
I read this poem during the week and thought it amusing because it has a link with the movie version of the Australian novel I am going to feature on Wednesday. Any guesses as to what the novel will be?
Pretty view indeed :) Enjoy your holiday Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying. A bit disappointed that this vantage point doesn't give me the usual play of evening/morning light but I can live with it.
DeleteHmmm, you make me want to pack and go again! Enjoy, awww, lucky you :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy spring, that is special too.
DeleteHow lovely Joan Elizabeth, with that view even the rain couldn't be a downer.. a good book, glass of wine/cup of coffee.. all good 😉
ReplyDeleteGetting plenty of reading, which is lucky because I am into some very long ones at the moment.
DeleteA good view.
ReplyDeleteI guess it would be better with a few less trees obscuring it ... but then again the trees are nice.
DeleteLooks like you have a lovely spot there... regardless of the weather. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteReading some very thick books.
DeleteWe got caught in the rain several times while camping in our trailer. Though we got a lot of reading done, it was pretty miserable because it was very small. We have a large dog and had nowhere to stow wet dog, jackets and towels. Cozy became cramped very quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe quite a large well equipped caravan and no animals.
DeleteRain was a very different story when we used to camp in tents and even in our much smaller caravan.
