Bandanon Homestead
On Sunday we visited Bandanon, the home of the artist Arthur Boyd, now gifted to the people of Australia. It is in a wonderful rural setting near the Shoalhaven River which he painted so often.
I will show you his studio next Friday, in fact I think I will make next week an arty week.
I am planning to show just two more shots (of the studio and sculpture garden). The bushland drive and the river are beautiful and the setting of the home drop dead lovely. You must go there one day if you can.
I love an arty week Joan Elizabeth, will look forward to it. He was a wonderful artist, it's lovely to know his house and studio are intact and open to the public ✨
Arty week sounds very good! Beautiful place it is, too.
ReplyDeleteArty it will be be mostly nature's art.

ReplyDeleteSandstone is such a beautiful building material and double story adds to it's beauty I think.
