Poetry of the eye

I love that we have a nice wide view of the sky at Rose Orchard Haus.  The evening sky is such a delight, no two days the same.

I read recently that "Writing is the tongue of the mind". I have decided that "Photography is the poetry of the eye".

A poem for today
The brain is wider than the sky by Emily Dickinson

    1. I think they are particularly lovely in Autumn. Perhaps it is the angle of the sun or something.

  2. We similarly have an open view like you do, facing the Olympic Mountains. We joke sometimes that we could sit and watch for hours as light and clouds and weather change endlessly.

    1. Thanks Sami. At sunset l I often find myself migrating to the room where this view appears just to enjoy the display.
