Gold seeking drive 2 - Making an entrance

I thought I would start by checking out the entrance to Kandos which I have shown you previously.  It's pretty but not quite as awesome as I hoped.  I notice the vineyard has already lost its leaves.

  1. The first picture truly reminds me of Tuscany, Italy. Sweet memories. Thank you.

    1. I didn't think of it being Tuscan but I can see it now.

  2. The 1st image is exceptional. And I love seeing the autumn poplars.

    1. Interesting that you liked this image. I was a little disappointed with it.

    2. You have the mountains, autumn poplars and then the criss cross of winter vines, near and far.

    1. The second image does give a much better idea of autumn colour.

    1. Even though poplars are not native it is nonetheless Aussie. There are so many of them in rural areas.

  5. That's rather a spectacular entrance to Kandos whatever colour the trees are Joan Elizabeth 🌲

    1. Yes it is nice. I don't enter the town from that direction very often so the joy of it has not worn off.

  6. Trees like that just seem to get better and better as autumn progresses.

    1. It depends. We need colder weather for a good autumn show otherwise the leaves just get blown off in the next big wind.
