Library Windows

While I was wandering around the library looking for the World Press Photo Gallery I spotted these windows titled "A cheery and positive place" by artist in residence Wendy Sharpe 2018.  She has captured the spirit of the library well.

  1. I love libraries. Seeing as I worked in a school library for over 20 years that is probably why 😉

  2. I never enter libraries now. Probably because of my eye problems reading is too difficult. I used to love libraries when I was young and reading was one of my great pleasures. Fortunately, today there are many things that can replace it.

    1. I am glad you are happily able to do other things now your eyes are giving you trouble. I prefer bookshops to libraries but now I am retired need to care about my finances more so borrowing is better than buying.

    1. Yes it is lively and very much like how it is in the library any day of the week. There are more panels which I didn't capture.
