Library Windows
While I was wandering around the library looking for the World Press Photo Gallery I spotted these windows titled "A cheery and positive place" by artist in residence Wendy Sharpe 2018. She has captured the spirit of the library well.
I never enter libraries now. Probably because of my eye problems reading is too difficult. I used to love libraries when I was young and reading was one of my great pleasures. Fortunately, today there are many things that can replace it.
I am glad you are happily able to do other things now your eyes are giving you trouble. I prefer bookshops to libraries but now I am retired need to care about my finances more so borrowing is better than buying.
I love libraries. Seeing as I worked in a school library for over 20 years that is probably why 😉
