In my old Sweet Wayfaring blog I used to post Country Lines images - so I will wrap up this trip with a country lines photo.
Back home I am now getting on with eating up the yummy citrus fruit, pruning the fruit trees, shrubs and roses. It's exhausting work so I will go off the air again for a while.
A new chapter begins, I guess...
ReplyDeleteThere is a season for everything.
DeleteA lovely country view.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.
DeleteOh my gosh Joan Elizabeth you live in one of the most beautiful spots I have seen on my travels.. gorgeous! I can't believe in all the times we've been to Sydney over the last ten years this is the first trip to the Blue Mountains. It certainly won't be the last. We stayed in a gorgeous Airbnb house in Little Hartley hiring a car in Katoomba. We saw so much of the stunning area including an apple orchard and a place famous for its scones 😊 but I'm sure there is much more to see. So cold though, but rugged up I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a lovely time Grace though you chose the coldest month to be here. It is beautiful and I go to one of the lookouts every now and then just to take in the view because it is easy to forget how awesome it it.
DeleteThat sounds a big job. Well done for being able to do it. Love the country lines.
ReplyDeleteI am still up to it provided I spread the pruning over a couple of weeks. It's actually easier than the constant mowing in the summer time.
DeleteThere is something captivating about the 'planted lines' in a field. I know I was always trying to snap them as we travelled past on PEI. I love the curve in this field.
ReplyDeleteYeh I am a captive. Always stopping to take a photo of the furrows when we are on a rural trip.
DeleteA good retirement is a busy one. The difference is that you work for yourself.
