The daffodils are dancing at Burnbrae - in a very brisk cold wind (that's August for you). I had planned to collect a pre-spring bouquet to photograph but it's freezing out there today so found a photo from last year instead.
The bouquet could have contained camellias, forget-me-nots, daffodils, jonquils, japonica, peris and violets.
Oh, I love daffodils - when you see them it´s spring!
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteCould use a little of that cool weather over here. It's been so hot (in the 90's) and muggy.
ReplyDeleteYou will get what you wish for soon enough - winter is on its way in your part of the world.
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sunny colour.
DeleteSo very beautiful - and uplifting Joan
ReplyDeleteNothing more uplifting than knowing spring is on the way.
DeleteToday (23 Aug.) is Daffodil Day for cancer research and I was happy to buy a bunch of Daffodils to brighten up the house and to help the cause.
ReplyDeleteI missed that it was Daffodil Day. It is a good cause.
DeleteThat would have been a beautiful bouquet Joan Elizabeth, the daffodil is also beautiful 💛
ReplyDeleteI will have to see what I can do next week
DeleteThis is lovely. I look forward to your trying again as I especially love forget-me-nots.
ReplyDeleteI will give it a go ... but it's raining now ... better than wind though.
