As promised I went up to Katoomba Street Art Walk on the weekend to capture some more of the beautiful images. This one by Brazilian Muralist L7M is my favourite.
Participating in Sami's Colourfulworld Monday Murals.
Everyday delights in Penrith, Kandos in mid-western NSW and beyond
I like that mural too. Alive and colourful.
ReplyDeleteIt is the colours, shapes and subject matter that appeal to me.
DeleteWow, that's fabulous! Thanks for participating Joan Elizabeth :)
ReplyDeleteYes I think it is wow too.
DeleteThis is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI was looking for Australian birds in the mural but on discovering the artist is Brazilian I understand why that are not particularly recognisable as our birds.
DeleteWe have a number of murals here too some of which are better than others. I just love that one in the photo.
ReplyDeleteMurals can be a mixed bag, especially in country towns.
DeleteWhat an incredibly colorful and rich mural. Very well painted, too.
ReplyDeleteRich - I like that description.
DeleteThere's so much color and movement in this mural. And are those tiny halos above the heads of the birds??
ReplyDeleteYes they are tiny halos. I am not sure of their significance. I checked his bio and it says "He captures both the elegance and graceful movement of birds by combining realistic and abstract elements."
DeleteIt seems they have a hard time to get through the dark colors, but they do and brighten the day, wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMy photography hasn't really done it justice.
DeleteLovely colours.
ReplyDeleteSome of the colours reminds me of our Bower Birds.
DeleteBeautifully done!
ReplyDeleteWish I could paint like that.
DeleteFabulous and on such a grand scale!
