The crab apple down the back garden at Burnbrae is looking gorgeous at the moment. I did the first mow for the season yesterday and also took advantage of the recent rain to pull weeds while the soil is still soft. At the moment the whole garden is lush and green with the trees dressing themselves in leaves again.
I am keen to get out to Kandos soon to see how things are going out there.
Pretty blossoms!
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the colour of these.
DeleteMy husband just did what we expect is our last mow of the season. Your garden is looking pretty.
ReplyDeleteThere is joy and sadness in the last mow ... a rest for a while but the dreary days of winter to get through.
DeleteHmm, beautiful! Whilst here all is getting brown and icky I can at least find joy in your posts, thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteI am glad winter is half a year away!
DeleteWe haven't mowed yet, but the weeds certainly need mowing! The Crab Apple looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThose pesky weeds are the first thing to grow.
DeleteSuch a beautiful colour
ReplyDeleteYes my favourite of all of the flowering trees in this garden with a double flowering cherry that comes out last of all a close second.
DeleteJoan, I might have petunias but I do miss these spring blossoms.
ReplyDeleteI am hopeless at growing petunias. They need to be watered regularly. I am lucky spring blossoms happen without any fuss from me.
DeleteGosh the garden at Burnbrae looks gorgeous Joan Elizabeth. The weather is so perfect for gardens at the moment ✨
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on where you are whether the current weather is perfect. Though spring usually does bring lovely warm days and the promise of a bit of rain.
