The next mural

Here's a theatrical image from Katoomba Street Art Walk.  The more I look at this one the more I like it.

    1. Yes it does seem unusual but I have not looked at a lot of street art.

  2. I think theatrical is the right word! A tad Picasso-like?

    1. Harlequin. Thank you that is the word I was looking for. I thought Joker and I knew that was wrong and could not think of the right word.

  4. That is an unusual mural, Joan. I like some more than others with the ones we have here but they do grow on you.

    1. I think street art often looks messy but have found here that focusing on the individual artworks has delivered a reward.

    1. I liked the way it worked with the scale of the buildings and windows too. Very clever.

    1. I can’t imagine painting on a scale as big as that.

    1. It is the back of the building, quite non-descript but for this image.

  8. I really like the mural. It’s unusual and makes you think. The old brick makes an apt background and adds another dimension to the art.

  9. Interesting mural.
The brick background seems to be working so well with the colours and style of the art. :)
