Wildflowers

I love the wildflowers that pop up of their own accord without any planting, weeding or feeding by me.  Paper daisies are currently in flower at our bush block.

And wild poppies are beginning to appear in our Kandos garden.  This particular one popped up in the veggie patch, hence the water sprinkler droplets enhancing the image.  It is very dry at the moment so we are all hanging out for the rain promised later this week.

  1. I love paper daisies but have no success growing them. I hope you get the rain but without the wind and excesses.

    1. The paper daises grow by themselves without my help (thank goodness) and the rain did come.

  2. I love the wildflowers when they pop up. I especially like your wild poppies. They must have been planted by someone a long time ago. I miss seeing all the wildflowers in the bush at this time of year in Winmalee.

    1. The poppies appear in nooks and crannies all over the town so as you say some garden must have started it all.
