Satin Bower Bird 2

This is the female Satin Bower Bird.  I showed you her mate a little while ago.  He has now moved all his blue objects to his new bower.


  1. They're so different in colour Joan Elizabeth, quite often it's the male that's more colourful.. doesn't seem fair 😊

    1. Yes the colour differences are striking in this case. They hardly look like they belong together. I love both colour schemes, adore the mottled green and am totally smitten by the males inkey blue. As for fairness in the bird world aren’t we lucky to be Human where the women get to dress up. 😀
