After our failed search for donkeys on Palm Sunday I had to grab a shot of these seen at the small town of Wattle Flat even though there is no gold in the shot.

So cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd very friendly too.
DeleteThey look like sweet animals.
ReplyDeleteI think they were hoping for a treat from me. They came over to the fence to say hello.
DeleteAren't they sweet. I often wonder if donkeys deserve their reputation as stubborn creatures 😊
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I suspect these are pets who have not been asked to do a day's work in their life.
DeleteI haven't seen a donkey for ages. Very cute!
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to see these, haven't seem one for ages myself.
DeleteDonkeys are cute - and helpful. I recently read the book "Flash: The Homeless Donkey Who Taught Me about Life, Faith, and Second Chances". If I lived in the country I guess I´d have a donkey :-)
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard of that book and I know I would not have a donkey or any other animal for that matter ... too much responsibility.
DeleteThe donkeys look like sweet animals. You are right, it is a big responsibility to look after an animal. We've had animals in the past, but I wouldn't want one now. They tie you down! I love animals, but I think it is cruel to have one if you can't be there for it.
ReplyDeleteWith our itinerant we can afford to be tied down. I love cats but they give me hayfever.
