Today I am participating in the City Daily Photo theme day for the colour Orange. Our oranges are ripe and will keep us in breakfast juice for months to come.
Elsewhere in the garden the apple, pear and cherry trees are in blossom and there are plenty of spring bulbs in flower. I checked the rain gauge and we were blessed with 45mm of rain in the past two weeks while we were away so the grass is also getting a sheen of green.
Here's a spring bouquet for you today -- pear blossom, spraxias and sweet peas.
I might (but I won´t!!!!) get a tad jealous ;-)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that looks and sounds so yummy with the oranges!
At least I was blessed with rain, too, two rainy bags and a wet backpack - despite brolly on top!
Enjoy, guess I´ll buy some orange juice later, too!
Fresh squeezed orange juice is the best.
DeleteFresh squeezed orange is such a good way to start the day. The garden sounds a delight Joan Elizabeth. Love the sweet peas in your flower vase, my dad's favourite. I was pretty thrilled myself to see my wisteria flowering profusely on the back fence and many flowers on my mango tree.. gardens are a never ending source of pleasure 💙
ReplyDeleteI noticed our wisteria at Burnbrae is in flower today.
DeleteHow nice. You're enjoying the sweetness of spring and it looks glorious.
ReplyDeleteSweet sunshine and sweet fragrances but misty today.
DeleteI would love to have oranges growing in the yard!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful old trees planted by the previous owner, a lovely legacy to obtain.
DeleteSpring is so much better when joined by rainfall. Enjoy those delicious looking oranges.
ReplyDeleteRainfall here in the mountains today, not sure about Kandos.
DeleteOh yes, nothing better than freshly squeezed, home grown, orange juice!
ReplyDeleteLove the bouquet too :D)
We indulge in orange juice nearly every morning it is so yum and there are plenty of oranges to keep us happy for months.
DeleteYour oranges look great and I love your bouquet.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
What is so fun about spring is they bouquet changes just about every week. This week we have azaleas and wisteria in flower.
