Theme day: Orange

Today I am participating in the City Daily Photo theme day for the colour Orange.  Our oranges are ripe and will keep us in breakfast juice for months to come.

Elsewhere in the garden the apple, pear and cherry trees are in blossom and there are plenty of spring bulbs in flower.  I checked the rain gauge and we were blessed with 45mm of rain in the past two weeks while we were away so the grass is also getting a sheen of green.

Here's a spring bouquet for you today -- pear blossom, spraxias and sweet peas.

  1. I might (but I won´t!!!!) get a tad jealous ;-)
Hmmm, that looks and sounds so yummy with the oranges!
At least I was blessed with rain, too, two rainy bags and a wet backpack - despite brolly on top!
Enjoy, guess I´ll buy some orange juice later, too!

  2. Fresh squeezed orange is such a good way to start the day. The garden sounds a delight Joan Elizabeth. Love the sweet peas in your flower vase, my dad's favourite. I was pretty thrilled myself to see my wisteria flowering profusely on the back fence and many flowers on my mango tree.. gardens are a never ending source of pleasure 💙
